The reviews online for the Singer(R) CurvyTM 8763 Sewing Machine are really good. We only found 37 reviews online but the average user rating is over 4.5 stars. People are saying that this machine is easy to use and the tutorial DVD that comes with it is very helpful. This machine has an automatic threader which a lot of people were very happy with. One review came from someone that purchased this machine for their 86-year-old mother who enjoys quilting. They said that she loves this machine and she is able to work independently due in large part to the automatic threader.
A number of reviews also came from people that were replacing an older Singer machine. One person said that they had a Singer 6233 that was 25 years old but finally needed to be replaced. They found the Singer(R) CurvyTM 8763 and they have been “sewing like mad since the day I got it”. Another person that had been using a Singer machine for over 30 years and finally needed a replacement said that they were hoping this machine would not be too hard to learn but they never dreamed it would be as easy as it turned out to be. After spending a few minutes with the manual and watching the included video, everything else was a piece of cake.
